Having the right documents when visiting the RTO or applying online is crucial for a smooth and hassle-free experience. Missing documents are the most common reason for application rejection or delays. This comprehensive checklist covers all the documents you need for various RTO services, from applying for a new Driving Licence to transferring vehicle ownership.
We recommend keeping both original and photocopies of all documents when visiting the RTO. For online applications through Parivahan Sewa, scanned copies in PDF or JPEG format (typically under 500KB each) are required. Always verify the specific document requirements with your local RTO, as some states may have additional requirements.
